Does anyone do this? So many places say that lemon juice is good for lightening skin imperfections.

Today I squeezed a lemon and put the juice on my face for 30 minutes. It stung at first! I'm hoping to see some marks lighten up!

Oh yeah it does sting a bit. It's a gradual lightening for spots so :) don't be disheartened after one use. Make sure that you wash the lemon off you face properly otherwise you can burn yourself badly in the sun

Lemon is antibacterial. THE secret to cleaner skin. Add a slice in water. :)

I forgot to mention. You must dilute it with water!

I didn't water down the lemon. Is that bad?

Yes! Lemon juice for skin health is a great combination as it's a natural antibacterial with vitamin C! Drinking lemon cleans the body of toxins and cleans the skin from the inside out. Do be careful applying lemon juice topically if you have acne as you could burn yourself painfully. Take it slowly and all should be fine although be extra patient for lightening as you might not notice it straight away.

Just dilute it with equal amounts of water and lemon . Lemon is harsh on its own.
