I prefer body butter because it's thicker and stays on the skin for longer. !love

Yeah or no?

I voted for body butter, it's luxurious but honestly too muddy for the face. I bought a jar for my friend who suffers from the dryest skin that I've ever seen and now she swears by body butter. Body butter will never replace lotion as lotion spreads easier, has different ingredients like SPF and feels silkier.

If you're interested, you can check out petal fresh pure body butter with lots of certified organic ingredients. I've tried coconut and mango however Pomegranate and grapefruit is my favourite. They Body Shop have a range of body butters but I prefer the smell and feel of the petal fresh brand.

If I was forced to choose between the two I'd choose lotion (body butter is great too!). 90% of the time I reach for lotion because it's a lightweight everyday product. I couldn't imaging using body butter daily, it would build up.

Lotion because I've never tried body butter. What is body butter?

You can try using it as needed since everyday builds up

Body butter is like a lotion but thicker and oil based. It feels like food butter and lasts longer than lotion. They contain natural fats from shea and cocoa.
