Need some gift ideas for dad. He's the adventurous and practical type, he likes anything that has practical purpose! (or food) He likes cars, camping, fishing, rock climbing and rafting - which I know absolutely nothing about btw. I was thinking of buying him a gift card but I may as well give him money so he can spend it anywhere he likes. There's something thoughtless about a gift card, so I won't be doing that! What will you guys be buying for father's day? I need some inspo.

Your father's day must be different to ours. We had it earlier this year in June.

Presents are nice but so are kind gestures. My father loves a solid and filling Sunday roast - it's superb. Everyone relaxes with a hot meal at the table. Mighty good conversations follow. Even a tad of booze.

I came onto this thread looking for Father's day ideas myself!

I love roast potatoes, straight out of the oven, so does my dad. The smell and the crunch is delicious.
I think I'll put on a surprise lil roast next Sunday. !love

Get a spa and massage treatment for him. Can also go with any hairstyle transformation as well. :D

A mens salon and spa for sure and don't forget to throw in nail treatments, hair cut, colour and facials.

Does your father have a partner? Arrange a weekend away for them. Banjara Retreat, Bilpin, Blue Mountains is nice. https://www.viewretreats.com/retreat/banjara-retreat
