I'm disliking using my phone as an alarm and prefer to have it off at night so I sleep better. I've been looking into gentler alarm clocks that don't startle me into drowsy mess.

I'm deciding between these. Please suggest others if you can.

The Philips wake up sun simulator - simulates the sun to wake me up

Bose sleep buds - noise blocking earbuds that sound an alarm that only I can hear

Shake-n-wake silent vibrating alarm clock - worn on the wrist, vibrates my wrist to wake up

I like the philips sunrise alarm exeept will it wake you up if the run has already risen?

I wouldn't like sleeping with stuff attached to my ear or on my arm.

I'd choose the sunrise alarm.

Have you seen the rocket launcher alarm clock? The only way to disable the alarm (without removing the power source) is to find the rocket and remount it on the base.
