Other than the iPod touch, I can't see where Apple is selling their iPod classic, Nano or Shuffle. Have these products been discontinued? I browsed other shops online and seems there are barely any dedicated music players available for purchase. If so, it's a pity. Running on a treadmill with headphones and an iPhone X or Android device is heavy and needs a big & strong pocket which workout gear doesn't have. It's nice to ditch the touch screen from time to time.

Many ipod models are not produced. The ipod touch is the only one available.

You can still purchase mp3 players from Sony - they sell models as costly as $3,200. They also have their standard models for around $80.

Apple discontinued the classic around 2014 and the others afterwards.

Phones have replaced the mp3 player because they can play mp3. People, including myself, see no need to carry and charge an extra device when iphones do it. Plus there's spotify now which the classic ipod doesn't have.

What about Onkyo DP-X1A? Though it is little chunky but the sound quality is outstanding.

Just saw those. I'm surprised that their top models aren't waterproof.

I guess the demand isn't there anymore.

Thanks. I like how it has quality audio components and wifi. The 16 hour playback is impressive. It's still a heavy device at 200g, but then I suppose great sound comes from heavier components. :)

That's good if you like this music player. A few years ago, I bought an iPod for my daughter to play poems but now, I prefer to just download different poems in my smartphone into mp3 by using any converter. So, at any stage, if you change your mind then start download music from YouTube to mp3 from here and get the joy of portable music player. In the same token, you can also go with YouTube premium to enjoy music and install it into different formats.
