Makeup trails

You must book your appointments with your professional makeup artists so that you cannot face any difficulty on the wedding day. You should try some styles of makeup prior to final makeup so that you can look attractive on your big day. These trials are necessary for you and your artist because, in this way, he will able to understand what type of your skin and what type of products are right for you.

Matching your makeup with your outfits

Make sure you are going to get the makeup which suits your face and outfit as well. Otherwise, you look unattractive and ugly on your wedding day. You should discuss all these things with your artist first and then go for makeup. If you are wearing simple clothes such as not heavy suit then go for lite makeup because of heavy makeup suits lehengas and sarees.

Choose the best quality products

You should choose the best quality products so that you can feel comfortable the entire day. Cheap products may harm your skin and lead to irritation and redness on your big day. In addition, if you have any type of allergic reaction then go to the doctor and take medications and then choose the makeup products according to your skin type, health, and complexion. You can also take advice from your friends and makeup artist as well because sometimes they have great knowledge of makeup products.

I agree with you, everyone should plan their makeup well before their wedding...but also choose a timeless look. Exaggerated eyebrows will look seriously outdated in 10 years. Keep away from trends and go for timeless and classic on the big day.

Also a decent setting spray so makeup lasts the reception! :)

Very helpful advice! As you said, the makeup should be tailored to the wearer's skin type and I was thinking even their unique facial features like bone structure as well. :)

Check this eyeliner. I really loved it when I used and Clamy Cosmetics based spf15+++ foundation could be the best preference for your makeup on the wedding day.

Here are a few bridal makeup tips every girl should follow before the D Day

Maintain a skincare routine

A very basic tip to remember in order to achieve glowing skin on your D-day is to take good care of it. The blank canvas needs to be maintained well in order for the artist to work his/her magic. Here are some ways you can do that!

a) Pamper yourself: If you think you’re going to take care of your skin for a week before the wedding and magically wake up with clear skin, I hate to burst your bubble. Start at least six months in advance. Fix an appointment with your dermatologist and create a skin care plan best suited for your needs. Your wedding day self will thank you for the same.

b) Exfoliate regularly: The process of exfoliation is meant to get rid of dead skin cells that build up over time. Regularly exfoliating with a mild scrub will help you get rid of that. But remember to do it only 2-3 of times a week. Over-exfoliation may damage your skin.

c) Use sun protection: While we cannot immediately see the damage caused by the harmful rays of the sun, it does cause pigmentation and dullness over time. Whenever you step out, you should always use sunscreen, SPF 30 or above, even in winters!

d) Be as stress-free as possible: Indulge in for spas, facials, pedicures and massages as often as you can in the months leading up to your wedding. Leading a stress-free life shows on your skin too. Leave all the wedding planning worries behind and chill while you can.

e) Eat well: What goes in your body shows up on your skin. Listen to your mom and eat all the veggies and desi delicacies she is preparing for you. Remember, ghee is good! Also, don’t forget to drink at least 2 liters of water in a day!

f) Exercise: The point is to maintain a healthy lifestyle and exercise is a part of it. Make it a habit to work out for at least half an hour, five times a week. Sweating does help get rid of the toxins in your body!
