For me, I'm going with cats.

How about you?

Soz, but I'm voting for hamster.

A bit off topic, I know, but I blame it all on nostalgia. It was my first pet, and it certainly will be my last. XD

For me, I think if you are serious about your health, you have to get a dog. Walking the dog every week just to get a bit of sunshine and exercise is just good enough to work of those calories in the a country where health food is only just being discovered (I'm from the US).

Nothing against cats though. :)

Cats are by far the best pets.

They're calm, don't lick my face (yuk) and give me the space I need. At night time they sit on me, watch TV and purr.

Through the day they're so talkative and content with 5 minutes attention here and there, not 50 like a dog.

Dogs would not suit my busy schedule.
